If you are an enrolled Native American, Alaska Native, First Nations of Canada, Metis or Inuit tribal member you can sell your handmade, handcrafted or hand gathered goods in your own online shop right here in RedTail Market.

We connect shoppers with the authentic work of Native artists, crafters and gatherers. Be a part of this growing community of North American Native artists committed to the promotion of authentic work.

What You Can Sell

Handmade

Hand fabricated from raw materials.

Example: Clay pottery using all handmade materials.

Handcrafted

Assembled using any manufactured components.

Example: Beaded moccasins using manufactured beads.

Hand Gathered

Plants or herbs gathered for food or health enhancement.

Examples: Sage bundles, wild rice or maple syrup.

Not Allowed

• Anything that does not fit in one of the three categories above.
• Work that was created by someone else.
• Illegal or prohibited items.

Set Up Your Store

You determine the name, look and color theme of your store.

Write Your Profile

Tell shoppers about yourself and the items you like to make. 

List Your Items

Display and describe your items in your personalized store, then activate your listings.  

Get Paid

Shoppers find your items and pay you directly.      

Ship Items

You ship the items to your customers.

Why sell on RedTail Market?

Your own online store. When you sign up to be a Seller, you get your own easy-to-use online store. You can customize it with a banner, colors, and photos of your products.

No HTML programming required. Setting up your shop on RedTail Market is easy. You create your own shop along with many other Native artists.

Active Community. When you join RedTail Market, you’re joining a group of Sellers interested in promoting and preserving the Native cultures by making and selling their authentic work.

More shoppers. We strive to maximize Internet exposure for Native artists by continually upgrading our Search Engine Optimization and developing a strong presence in Social Media.

Online privacy and safety. RedTail Market values your privacy. We do not share your email address or any of your other personal information with anyone. For more information, read our Privacy Policy. And because all transactions are through PayPal, it's the safer way to pay and to be paid.

Fees

Your cost of doing business. It costs 30 cents to list an item for three months. Listings must be purchased in a minimum quantity of 10.

When your item sells, a 3.5% transaction fee will be deducted from the purchase price of your item (include that in the prices you set for your products if you wish).

There is optional advertising available on prominent pages for Artists who would like premium exposure for their products. To find out more about the optional advertising fees, see  Advertising (Options).
